Our shark diving sites in South Africa are the Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks.
The reefs of the Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks are home to many species of shark including Tiger Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Guitar Sharks and Whitetip Reef Sharks. The reefs are also home to a huge variety of marine animals including Dolphin, Turtles, Mantas, Devil Rays, Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Game Fish, Paperfish and much more!

Aliwal Shoal
The Aliwal Shoal in South Africa is rated as one of the top shark diving sites in the world.
Situated about 5-kms off-shore from the small diving town of Umkomaas, the Aliwal Shoal offers amazing shark diving with many species of shark including Tiger Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Guitar Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks and a huge variety of marine life including Dolphin, Turtles, Mantas, Devil Rays, Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Game Fish, Paperfish and much more!
The Aliwal Shoal offers a mix of reef diving, wreck diving, shark diving and baited shark diving.
Protea Banks
The Protea Banks are situated about 7-km off-shore from shelly beach and are home to many species of shark including Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Dusky Sharks, Great Hammerhead Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Guitar Sharks and many species of pelagic game fish.
The Protea Banks offer a mix of shark diving and baited shark diving.
Big-5 Safari
After your scuba diving package, you can extend your stay and experience a Big-5 Safari.
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is South Africa’s oldest game reserve and perfect for your Big-5 Safari. Enjoy two full days of game driving to see the Big-5, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo and much more.
You will also experience a Hippo and Croc River Cruise on the estuary of St Lucia in the World Heritage site of Isimangaliso.
