Our combination shark diving holiday takes place in South Africa and Mozambique.
The holiday includes shark diving both the Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks in South Africa as well as shark diving on the reefs of Ponta Do Ouro in Mozambique. You will also experience a Big-5 Safari in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Reserve.

Aliwal Shoal
The Aliwal Shoal in South Africa is rated as one of the top shark diving sites in the world.
Situated about 5-kms off-shore from the small diving town of Umkomaas, the Aliwal Shoal offers amazing shark diving with many species of shark including Tiger Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Guitar Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks and a huge variety of marine life including Dolphin, Turtles, Mantas, Devil Rays, Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Game Fish, Paperfish and much more!
The Aliwal Shoal offers a mix of reef diving, wreck diving, shark diving and baited shark diving.
Protea Banks
The Protea Banks are situated about 7-km off-shore from shelly beach and are home to many species of shark including Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Dusky Sharks, Great Hammerhead Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Guitar Sharks and many species of pelagic game fish.
The Protea Banks offer a mix of shark diving and baited shark diving.
Ponta Do Ouro
The shark diving in Ponta Do Ouro is rated as some of the best shark diving in the world!
Over the years we have dived with 17-species of shark on the reefs of Ponta Do Ouro including Tiger Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Bull Sharks, Silvertip Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Whale Sharks, Spinner Sharks, Dusky Sharks, Java Sharks, Grey Reef Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Great Hammerhead Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Leopard Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Guitar Sharks and more.
Most of the shark sightings take place on the Pinnacles and Atlantis reefs but you can also see sharks on other reefs.
Big-5 Safari
After your scuba diving package, you can experience a Big-5 Safari.
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is South Africa’s oldest game reserve and perfect for your Big-5 Safari. Enjoy two full days of game driving to see the Big-5, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo and much more.
You will also experience a Hippo and Croc River Cruise on the estuary of St Lucia in the World Heritage site of Isimangaliso.
